With the two new ships, frp, 3rd April 2014 on it is possible to offer daily crossings between Denmark and Norway and that with two ferries which set new standards in terms of comfort and ecology.

Hirtshals – Kristiansand
In addition from April -like every year- the catamaran Fjord Cat, will be awakened from hibernation. It serves the route Hirtshals – Kristiansand – Hirtshals across the Skagerrak Strait with a travel time of just 2 hours and 15 minutes, making Fjord Line the fastest connection from Denmark to Norway. In low season, this crossing is offered twice a day, in high season, from the end of June to mid-August, even 3 times a day. This means there are no longer any limits of mobility between the Danish and Norwegian mainland.
Since 2006, this ship crosses the North Sea between Denmark and Kristiansand at a superior pace. Our younger passengers love to wave to the other ferries we overtake during the journey. Fjord Line has rated the ship for 676 passengers and up to 180 cars plus four buses, but it is certified for up to 900 passengers and 220 cars.
