Directly on the picturesque Sognefjord, probably the most famous fjord, lies this idyllic holiday spot with fantastic views, in a sunny location, only about 2 hours by car from the fjord capital Bergen. If you are looking for calmness and relaxation in beautiful nature, this is the place to be. Enjoy the sun from one of the three terraces. For a fishing holiday, this holiday spot offers ideal conditions and good fishing grounds in quiet, sheltered bays of the fjord.
The 17 foot 40 hp motorboat with sonar (included) will take you to the good fishing grounds. Nothing stands in the way of a successful fishing trip. A fjord safari with a 200 hp RIB boat can be booked from Vadheim (please book in advance). The approx. 3-hour safari is weather dependent and will be planned and coordinated on site.
Ideal excursions: Balestrand, glacier/summer ski area or to the fjord capital Bergen. In addition, bicycles or e-bikes can be rented for a fjord biking tour from/to Vadheim (please order in advance).
A rental car can be requested.
The cottage itself is tastefully decorated. Approx. 80 sqm, electricity, water, bathroom with shower and toilet, complete kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, freezer, electric heating, fireplace, TV, internet access, 3 x terrace, hot tub, garden furniture, grill, garden, grocer: approx. 4 km, parking approx. 20 m, landing stage (approx. 5 minutes by car), very good fishing opportunities, filleting place, final cleaning included, bed linen and towels can be pre-ordered.
