The surrounding area also offers excellent hiking opportunities. Due to the proximity to Stavanger and Haugesund, guests interested in culture will also find plenty to explore.

Excursion possibilities: Haugesund, Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock), the Ryfylke Scenic Route, the Norwegian Petroleum Museum in Stavanger, the North Sea Route and the Hardangerfjord.
